The SIR Area 2 $ums in Retirement group is provided for the participation of members and guests of the six Area 2 SIR Branches: Mt. Diablo Branch 8, John Muir Branch 19, Rossmoor Branch 81, Las Trampas Branch 116, Pleasant Hill Branch 146, and Lamorinda Branches 171 and 174. All SIR members and their guests are invited to attend these informative sessions. Meetings of the Group are normally held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Diablo Creek Golf Course (we meet on the 3rd Wednesday in November and there is no meeting in December.) Attendees are welcome to purchase breakfast beginning at 7:00 a.m. and the meeting commences at 8:00 a.m. We are usually finished by 9:30 a.m. We bring in speakers from the financial community to discuss a variety of topics that are of interest to our SIR participants. There is never an obligation or expectation that attendees will purchase any products or services presented by the speakers.
